Live Stream Mass from St. Michael's with Father Silvichan

Father Silvichan will continue to live stream the Sunday 9am Mass.

Please join us in Spirit as we continue to grow in faith together.

Farwell Party for Fr. Silvichan

As we are now aware, in early July Father Silvichan will be leaving St. Michael Parish and relocating to Nova Scotia. During the past four years Father Silvichan has become part of our families and we’re sad to see him go but know that God is now calling him to Cape Breton where he’ll continue his ministry.

With the current public health guidelines in place, it may not be possible to physically gather as a parish to thank Father for his service. That being said, we are making tentative plans for a function after the 11:00 AM Mass on Sunday, July 4 to show our affection and appreciation for his time with us. In the church immediately following Father’s final blessing, there will be a very brief (10 - 15 minute) program and then we all plan to continue with an informal gathering on the church grounds. Once again, the following plans for such a gathering will be either confirmed or possibly cancelled - all dependent upon such events being approved by the provincial health guidelines for gatherings on July 4.

THE ‘EVENT’

Sunday, July 4, 12:15 - 2:30 PM
(After the 11:00 AM Mass)

The Knights of Columbus will be supplying hotdogs and hamburgers at this informal gathering and the Catholic Women’s League (CWL) will be providing a sweet treat for dessert. We will be outside for this gathering and will again be complying with all relevant public health guidelines. To help the Knights and CWL plan for quantities we are asking that parishioners RSVP through Sign Up Genius using the following link:
